We Understand Your Investment Goals

We understand that investors have different needs and expectations of their investment advisor. The first step in our process is to determine if we are right for you.

We take our time to get to know you and to make sure you get to know us. We know that we may not be right for every investor, and if based on your criteria for selecting a manager, we are not a good fit, we will let you know, and may be able to provide a referral to someone who may be more compatible to your needs.

Feeling comfortable with the firm that you entrust to manage your money is the first step in developing a trusted and lasting relationship. Because we aspire to have only a limited number of clients, the comfort level that each client has is important to us , and we hope to you as well.

Once we determine to work together, we begin the process of getting to know you better.

  • We take the time to understand your investment goals, and how you feel about your money
  • We will examine your current investments and investment approach. What are your financial priorities, risk tolerance and time horizon?
  • We will discuss particular types of investments that you feel comfortable with, and/or those that you would prefer to avoid. Because each client portfolio is built specifically for them, we can tailor your portfolio to meet your financial needs, and your ability to tolerate market risk.
  • We will design an Investment Policy Statement that details our mutually agreed upon strategy to invest your assets. This will address how you feel about taking risk, and what you will expect from us as your money manager.
  • Your portfolio is actively monitored and you receive monthly statements, as well as quarterly performance reports, calculated by an independent firm.

As a private company, our advice is not influenced by a corporate sales agenda, so we are free to choose the right solutions for you. We continue to honor our relationship by meeting with you at least quarterly to review your investments, and make certain you continue to feel comfortable with our approach.
